Mapihi Anderson from Waiōhau introduces us to her sacred maunga, Hikurangi, and takes us to Waiohau Marae. With a passion for rugby and tikanga, Mapihi shares the vibrant traditions of her Tūhoe iwi.

In this heartwarming first episode, we meet Moko Peni from Rotorua, proud descendant of Tūhourangi. Moko takes us to his marae, Hinemihi, and shares stories of growing up near the majestic Tarawera Maunga and the beautiful Lake Tarawera.
