When Lorrie Matheson opened Arch Audio in Calgary, the first band through his doors was a young and ambitious rock group called Ghostkeeper. Ten years, four albums and a ton of experimentation later, they return to the place it all began.

Mimi O’Bonsawin has some magical chemistry with downtown Toronto’s Noble Street Studios. That chemistry was on full display when Mimi walked into her latest session with nothing but a demo recording on her iPhone.

Winnipeg’s own singer-songwriter Ila Barker visits Paintbox Recording working with Sierra Noble and Rusty Matyas, Ila channels an inner depth of unforgettable vocal beauty and lyricism.

Rising star Aaliyah Jackson steps into the studio to record an original song at The Audio Department in Edmonton, Alta. The depth and soulful tone of Aaliyah’s voice is undeniable. Tune in to catch her remarkable vocal harmonies in action!

Episode 15

Step into the studio with Rudegang Entertainment, a four-piece hip hop group taking the scene by storm! The dynamic group drops into Monarch Studios in Vancouver, B.C., to record the song, “Break it Down.” The band's upbeat urban sound is contagious!
